Background
Kathleen Glynn, AIA is multi-coastal. She grew up in California, and moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University, where she received a Bachelor of Science. Kathleen went to Washington, DC and earned her Master's of Architecture from the Catholic University of America. She stayed in the Mid-Atlantic for more than seven years, working in historic preservation for Quinn Evans Architects right after finishing with her degree. While working on the renovation of the Senior Naval Officers Quarters in Annapolis, Maryland, Kathleen fell in love with residential design.
Along the way Kathleen met her husband, a native of New Orleans, with him she explores the architecture of yet another region. Through these experiences Kathleen holds a deep understanding of regional styles, and the charm that accompanies them.
Kathleen later returned to Chicago, and her architecture experience includes renovations, additions and new construction on the North Shore, Barrington, and the lakes of Southern Wisconsin.
Kathleen shares a home with her husband, their daughters, and a big yellow dog.
